Instead he STATED why Rob couldn't pull Calvin. (the Desrres injury). They should just play the games without you in attendance, it would be about the same. Thats where the buck stops. The T Birds will be a consistenly mediocre team as long as Farwell calls the shots. We didn't trade for the future so we could experience this? Gee I'm sure glad we put so much value on keeping this team together. That will sure build the fan base. What can you do but laugh, Portland probably deserved to win 15-0. Hickey's hit on Valchar was the only cheer worthy moment of the night. A bunch of people in our section were playing AC/DC's "TNT" after Portland's 7th, 8th, and 9th goal. Just one of those games Portland played as a team and with some fire... And nobody on Seattle showed any sort of emotion or quite frankly looked like they cared..... At least we can say we lost to the best and worst team in the West by 8 goals this season. I'm thinking Rob Sumner's last year is next year. I have blasted Sumner in the past for letting his teams roll over. But when you are losing 9-0 in the 2nd period to your rival on your fan appreciation night with a big crowd, somebody needs to send a message clearly Sumner coaches like he played, like a coward.
