Are all of the players going there now? If so, hopefully that makes it easier for us to sign players. I know there were rumblings about the players and parents not liking KM, in my opinion Kentwood is a much better school. People made him out to be some type of super star in his time in Seattle. I thought it was a great trade and we should be happy with a draft pick let alone a 6th rounder.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-67310338446446866212012-08-30T09:08:10.576-07:002012-08-30T09:08:10.576-07:00Russ is master of the dark arts, swish and flick, ...Russ is master of the dark arts, swish and flick, swish and flick, making the playoffs for once would be a nice trick. Drafting behemoth's who can't skate or score, who could ask for more? Better still draft a player that might actually score even if signing him is not in store!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-34041893272241246912012-08-30T00:14:19.620-07:002012-08-30T00:14:19.620-07:00Lockhart and Rouse are two completely different ty...Lockhart and Rouse are two completely different types of center. I believe the decision on who they keep comes down to two factors.

1. Can they get anything of value for either of them?
2. If they can't which player fits in most to what is trying to be done.

If there is no trade then they are going to hold on to them until the deadline in October.

The next question is what are they looking for. Lockhart is a speed player that is great on special teams and great on the faceoff. He should be a scorer but last season was a setback for him. Rouse is a Lindsey Nielsen type of player. His job is to distribute the puck to one of the two scorer on his line. He is decent in the faceoff circle as well as special teams but Luke is stronger in those two areas. The last couple of years he has had injuries but the types of injuries he has had wouldn't make him "Injury Prone".Kodihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12530094650260889519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-68138157136366262512012-08-29T20:51:26.002-07:002012-08-29T20:51:26.002-07:00I've always liked Chance. I don't think he's every gotten enough credit for his play, especially last year on the PK.

While I'm not sure what other 20s are available out there right now, especially at center, whose to say either Rouse or Lockhart will both be around come the October deadline. Russ may just have some magic left in him yet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-84054589605375436462012-08-29T18:11:05.800-07:002012-08-29T18:11:05.800-07:00Lockhart and Rouse were playing against 15 and 16 ...Lockhart and Rouse were playing against 15 and 16 year old players (at times) in training camp. How many points did they pick up? They as, 20 year olds, need to pick up their game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-59248764303265449422012-08-29T17:20:26.425-07:002012-08-29T17:20:26.425-07:00Sorry, I was specifically speaking about the three...Sorry, I was specifically speaking about the three forwards who were in camp, Lockhart, Lund and Rouse. None of Seattle's 20s are game changers. I mean what is the common denominator among them? They all played each of the past three seasons on a sub .500 non playoff team. Or is it that they all contributed next to nothing offensively. I actually think Rouse might have the edge, he developed nice chemistry with Honey and Troock.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5761720971433980858.post-90157995466782505952012-08-29T14:16:52.355-07:002012-08-29T14:16:52.355-07:00I truely believe Lund was the best player of the b...I truely believe Lund was the best player of the bunch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
