Seattle sends Ryan Aasman to Swift Current for a conditional 5th round pick this afternoon.
The writing has been on the wall for Aasman since the start of the season as he played up front against Everett in the season opener. Now that Scott Ramsay is back and healthy, he just didn't have a spot.
Update: Ramsay actually played Friday in Vancouver but didn't play Saturday at home against Calgary. So I'm not as certain of his status as I thought he was.

Sumner said that he wanted to ease Ramsay back in and not let him do too much too early, thats why he didn't play on saturday.
I was at the game in Vancouver last Friday night... I'm pretty sure Ramsay was on the ice for all 3 Giants goals... Two of them a direct result of his misread of the play... He certainly did not look like he was that healthy yet, could just be rust, but didn't look like what he is capable of. Although playing with Fleming surely can't help.
