Ex-Thunderbirds Captain Aaron Gagnon who was signed to a 3 year Free Agent contract in the spring of 2007 with the Dallas Stars, was invited to camp with the Stars but has not been able to participate due to an injury to his ankle.
Gagnon suffered the injury participating in the Traverse City Prospect Tournament. Gagnon will likely miss 2-3 weeks and might miss the entire training camp. He is expected to start the season with the Stars' AHL affiliate the Iowa Stars.
