Better put some defense on Bjorks#@##@ and Petan and the ultimate pest Lepsic. (and DeLeo).
Just checked the ticket availability, allot of seats still left. Surprising to see for a tilt versus these two teams.
Can't defend 4 of them.......
Portland skated circles around Seattle. No contest.
Seattle NO SHOW.
The fans were a NO SHOW either. It is Friday night top 2 teams and have less than 4k in te building is sad. It is not Tuesday night against the lethbridge
For all those that have watched the games live, how has Gropp been doing? I know he scored on his first game, first shift... but how has he been? and has he been getting lots of ice time?.. Im sure itll take him a few games to get used to the speed and his new teamates, so its understandable if he hasnt done too too much yet... Will him and Barzal be a good 1,2 punch next season in their draft year??
As a season ticket holder and have had friends that "were" season ticket holders, they have "given up" on the management (guess who) and their ability to form a winning franchise.
Its early yet, and I don't expect to see huge crowds just cause Portland is in town. Wait till December and it will probably pick up.
For Anon 11:57, Gropp looked really good to me in that game against swift current last week, but since then we have seen more of Mac and Yak and Gropp has been less visible. He is not at all physical and I think Konowalchuck is going to make him earn that ice time before he gets a huge role. As far as next year goes, those two on a like with Honey is what I hope to see.
