Tbirds win...

I missed the game last night due to a game of my own...

Do not fear though... I am working on several posts that will lead up to the first puck drop of the playoffs.

was able to listen to most of the game and it sounded as though the Tbirds played well for the most part but also had some lapses.

I was told later that Coach Sumner said something similar to that after the game.

Pictures from the game by Mick White at Kent Valley Sports can be found here.

I heard that Rai will be back for the playoffs, any idea when Neilsen will be back? It would be nice if he could play in a couple of regular season games to get back into the flow before the playoffs.

Parker wasn't in the lineup last night, I'm not sure about the rules governing the full mask, but it would be nice to have him available for the playoffs.

Game was pretty good last night, T-birds gave Prince George a gift on their first goal, let the puck sit in the slot for some one to come put it in the net. T-birds need to get better around their net, leave too many guys without a body on them (or even close to them) in the slot and sides of the net.

I like the way Scott, O'brien, and Boyer play together, good speed and stick handling. Though a lefty on the line would be a plus, I'd like to see Scott, O'brien, and Rai for the playoffs.

Rai, Parker, and Neilsen will sit out the rest of the regular season. Parker had surgery on Tuesday for his broken jaw. Him and Rai will be back for the start of the playoffs. Neilsen seems an unlikely possibility, they aren't rushing him back.

I'm not sure where you heard that Parker had surgery for a broken jaw...

I could certainly be wrong but I was told that that is not true.

i thought berg played well in the 3rd period. he seemed to play a lot at the end of the game. hes a load. i think if he lost some weight and learned to use his body a little better, he could end up being a pretty darn good player. hes huge.

Considering Berg is the same size as Warg I'd say he's a stud. Sure he needs more ice time, so I guess we'll see.

Berg needs to lose some weight? I saw him after the game ( I assume it is him because he's the only player I didn't recognize) and he has no weight problem. He's about the same size as Chaffin. I think he's listed as 6'3" 204 lbs. I thought he plays similar to Haber.

I heard you finally remembered how to score goals yourself. Congratulations.

I have a feeling the Winterhawks WIN tonight in Seattle .... just a hunch i have .

Once again I will be there to see the Winterhawks can finally play together for 60 minutes.

One good note .... Tayler Jordon is not in the lineup. YEAH... no more stupid penalties.

See you at the SHO
