Hockey Challenge 2009

Dear readers...

I have been asked by a friend of mine to participate in the Hockey Challenge this year. As some of you may know, the Hockey Challenge is an event put on by the Thunderbirds in conjunction with Microsoft and the Ronald McDonald House to raise money for the RMH.

The RMH is a very important part of Seattle's Children's Hospital, providing a place for families to stay while their kids are receiving treatment.

My team represents the "Entertainment & Devices" Division of Microsoft and we will be playing in the first game of the day at 11:35 in the morning.

The team goal this year is to raise over $10,000.

I know that in the current economic climate, it is very difficult to ask people for donations. No amount is too small and donations can be made online for as little as you feel comfortable.

For anyone who doesn't already have tickets to the Tbirds game on the 28th against the Winterhawks, I encourage you to do so. The Tbirds issued a press release this morning.
